Introduction:
After building an Ilur with my son I wanted to build an Auklet Dinghy for our other sailboat. (A Danish Flower 31, shown on the right). This will make it easier to go ashore when moored. The Auklet is the smallest dinghy Iain Oughtred designed and I thought it looked nice and would suit our 'Pampero' since it is a classic design as well. After building the Ilur I got hooked on the building process itself.
It is such a joy to build your own wooden boat.
Just like in the website we made during the build of the Ilur I would like to share and exchange experiences with other builders or other people who might be interested in building wooden boats.
